Hello,
When I have tried to compile NSIS 4.0 in Fedora Core 5 I have got the following error messages:
I have never seen this error message before, nor do I have a clue, what this error messages means. Did you try to compile any of our releases before 0.4.0? Is there anything special to your system? 64-bit? Non x86-CPU?
Which version of g++ do you run? (i.e. What is the output of "g++ -v"?)
libxorp/eventloop.hh:229: error: extra qualification 'EventLoop::' on member 'add_selector'
Below I attach a complete listing of the messages showed during of the configure and compilation process.
Someone have any ideas how to find a solution for that error?
No real solution yet, but hopefully we can find something special to your system which might help to address this problem.
Thanks for your interest, Christian Dickmann

Christian,
this is caused by g++ v4.0 and up. I was preparing a patch just before version 0.4.0 was released but it's not done yet. Version 4.0+ of g++ just follow the C++ standard...
The fix is simple. The class qualifications must be removed.
Regards,
Stephane.
Hi Christian,
You are right, FC5 uses g++ version 0.4. I'll try to fix the NSIS code otherwise I'll wait for the Christian's patch.
Thanks,
Johnny
